DARE TO BELIEVE GOD
DARE TO BELIEVE GOD
Luke 1:45 KJV
"And blessed is she that believed: for there shall be a
performance of those things which were told her from the
Lord."
God has not called us to do some great and impossible
thing for Him. He has not called us to perform or impress
Him in anything. As a matter of fact, all the works and
effort we make by ourselves hardly impress God in any
way. But God has called us to Believe Him. God's hardest
time with man is on how to get man to believe Him.
God has been angry over man's sins in the past, but the
one sin that grieves God the most is the sin of unbelief.
God's greatest pain over man is when He is doubted and
not believed. The first sin that man committed in the
garden was a sin of unbelief. After man listened to satan,
he immediately disbelieved God, and did what God asked
him not to do. So sin is a product of unbelief. When man
begins to doubt God, then nothing God has said will come
to pass in his life. Our sins do not grieve God like our
unbelief, because it is when we doubt or disbelieve God
that we sin. That was why Abraham believed God and it
was counted to him for righteousness; Genesis 15:6. The
sin that Israel did to grieve God was the sin of unbelief;
Numbers 14:11.
Firstly, you had to believe to be saved, without which you
would still be languishing in your sin. Romans 10:10.
When God is not believed He is limited in our lives; Psalm
78:32-41. Unbelief will lead to murmuring and murmuring
will expose you to satan; 1Corinthians 10:10, Mark
16:15-16. It is unbelief that will condemn you and not
necessarily a sin you committed per se. Mark 16:16.
Jesus rebuked unbelief as well. Mark 16:14. No word you
hear will profit you until you believe it or release your
faith towards it. Hebrews 4:2. It is only faith and believing
that pleases God. Hebrews 11:6. In the kingdom of God
you do not see to believe, rather we believe in order to
see. Psalm 27:13.
Dare to believe In Jesus Name.
