Rodgers to replace Jose mourinho @ Chelsea

The managerial position at Chelsea has taken another twist with reports suggesting recently fired Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers could succeed Jose Mourinho if the Portuguese gets sacked this weekend.

Rodgers has emerged as a shock candidate for the Stamford Bridge job according to the Belfast Telegraph.

It is understood that Mourinho will be shown the door if his side lose to Liverpool in the Premier League this weekend.

Rodgers is currently jobless after his Anfield exit and was previously linked with the brewing seat at Aston Villa but it has emerged the Irishman is now a potential replacement for his former mentor Mourinho.
