Jose Mourinho is, without doubt, facing the toughest test of his managerial career to date. Everything that could have gone wrong practically has although it is difficult to sympathise with the Portuguese boss following his comments and antics throughout the campaign.

Nobody could have predicted Eden Hazard, Nemanja Matic and Branislav Ivanovics complete drop off in form. If the performance of the team does not improve that could be the end for Jose Mourinho at Chelsea.

1. Jose Mourinhos criticism of his staff  8 August 

After limping to a 2-2 draw at home to Swansea on the opening day of the season, the game was overshadowed by Mourinhos criticism of team doctor Eva Carneiro and physio Jon Fearn after they raced onto the pitch to treat Eden Hazards injury late in the game.

As the rules state, if the physio comes on to treat a player for injury, then the player has to leave the field, hence why Mourinho was angry with just a few minutes left to play.

Carneiro left the club pending a court case for unfair dismissal whilst Fearn is back on the bench. The Chelsea players are reportedly very unhappy as the way Carneiro was treated.
