Arsenal are set to make their star forward, Alexis Sanchez the best paid player with a new long term deal.
The Chile international joined Arsenal from Barcelona in 2014 on a £130,000-per-week contract.
Arsenal however are ready to hand the star a new contract worth over £150,000-per-week which will make him the highest earning player at the club.
Mesut Ozil is currently the highest paid player earning£140,000-per-week. Arsenal are looking to tie their best players to long term deals and have made Sanchez their number one priority.
Ozil according to reports will also be offered new a new contract although there wont be a huge increase on his wages.
Sanchez scored a brace in Arsenals 3-0 win over Manchester United in their last English Premier League game.
